Why did you come to Colorado?

I moved to Colorado because I grew up skiing on the east coast and loved it. I came out to Colorado for a ski vacation one year and realized that is where the best skiing is. I loved the weather in the summer and the amazing summer activities you can do in the mountains. It really is true what they say: you come for the winters but stay because of the summers.

What is your favorite place and why?

Vail was the first place I lived in Colorado and it holds a special place in my heart. I also met my husband there and got married in Eagle-Vail, so the valley has always just felt like home. I have so many memories skiing some of the best powder on my lunch break and can’t think of a mountain I know/love more than Vail.

What do you want our guests to know about your favorite destination that they may not know?

Vail has an amazing farmer’s market every Sunday in the summer months where local artisans, craftsman and food vendors come to sell their products. Many are handmade and super original that you can’t find anywhere else! I always love to stop there after a weekend of camping in the mountains and see what new vendors have set up each year and support local business owners.

What is your favorite activity in Colorado?

This is a hard one, so I will have to do a summer and a winter: winter of course is the skiing and summer is floating down the Colorado River!

Why should our clients have their group event in Colorado?

The weather in Colorado is perfect for outdoor activities. We have 300 days of sunshine here so, no matter the season, you know that your guests will experience all the great recreational activities Colorado has to offer. Your group can work, but will also get to have some outdoor play too!
