Realize is the 2017 GDP U.S. Partner of the Year!

At the end of August, Realize Colorado attended the Global DMC Partners (GDP) Connection held in Las Vegas, NV. The Connection is such an awesome event with all of our partners from around the world, as well as many clients. Over 200 event professionals were invited this year. There are one-on-one appointments along with educational sessions and of course, fun! We are honored to be a part of this organization.

During the Connection, Realize was named the 2017 U.S. Partner of the Year! Our owner, Deana Mitchell, was completely shocked when the award was announced… she had no words! She described it as, “such a humbling experience in a room full of colleagues and clients.” Take a look at the press release!

GDP Partner of the Year Awards are presented annually to the highest-achieving U.S. and international DMCs out of a pool of over 65 DMC Partners. Award winners are selected based on creativity, quality, operational excellence, customer satisfaction and active involvement within Global DMC Partners. We are thrilled to have received this award!

Following the Connection, we attended the GDP Peer Exchange. Over the course of three days, we were able to network, share ideas and have some more fun with our fellow GDP Partners! This yearly Exchange is a valuable opportunity to discuss what is trending in other destinations, review the industry and compare best practices in an open and honest forum.

At this point, you may be asking – what exactly is Global DMC Partners? Simply put, it is an elite partnership of DMCs and creative event experts serving more than 500 premier locations worldwide. Click here to learn more about GDP.

As for upcoming industry events, Realize Colorado will be back in Las Vegas October 10-12 at IMEX America. We would love to see you there! Please make an appointment or contact us for more information.

Las Vegas plays such a big part in our industry. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the city of Las Vegas, our partners in the industry and all the victims of the recent shooting and their families.
