Deana Mitchell

Owner & Sales

Deana Mitchell, CMP, DMCP, CCSE has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality, event, and destination management industry. After graduating from Louisiana State University with a degree in architecture, Deana began a very successful career in the hospitality field.

Deana has realized her dream of living in the mountains and enjoying life every day! Her experience in the different facets of the hospitality world over the years, coupled with her travels and involvement in professional organizations, gives her the ideal experience to do what she loves – creating experiences for groups who want to come visit Colorful Colorado!

Madeline Tanguay

Creative Services & Program Manager

Madeline has worked in hospitality and events since moving to Telluride in 2013. She holds a BFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology.  Prior to following her dream of living in Colorado, she worked for several years in the fashion industries of New York and California. Madeline applies her design, sales and customer service experience to every event. She takes great pride in using her attention to detail to help create memorable experiences as part of the Realize Team.

Dijana Pagano

Local Expert, Denver-Colorado Springs

Dijana Pagano CMP, LES brings a wealth of knowledge to the Realize Colorado team. She has a strong background in hotels, catering and meeting planning. Dijana lives in Denver and also works in the Colorado Springs market. In addition she used to live in Telluride and was very involved in the event community there.

Jessica Brown

Marketing & Program Manager

Jessica has worked in marketing and event management for over seven years. Before joining the Realize Planning family as the Operations Manager, she spent several years directing and managing logistics for music based events all over the US. Jessica completed her Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Marketing and Communications from the University of Missouri. Jessica loves being involved in her community, enjoys hiking, white water rafting, and is an all-around adventure junkie.

Melissa Ryman

Program Manager

With a Master’s in project management, Melissa’s education enables her to fully understand the planning and coordination of various events and projects from beginning to end. Her roles have included event planning and coordination, hospitality, business development, and marketing. Customer satisfaction is essential to a great event and she aims to exceed expectations. Melissa is an an excellent communicator with strong ability to accommodate and coordinate logistics. She is proactive, motivated and professional.

Amanda Andrews

Program Manager

Amanda Andrews graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Recreation Management. Soon thereafter, she moved out to Colorado to start her career in the Hospitality and Destination Management field. She has experience in the hotel world where she worked as a Conference Service Manager for many years in Vail. Then she made the move to Denver, where she began working in the Destination Management field in an account management role, planning events in Denver, Vail and Colorado Springs. She enjoys all the recreational activities that the great state of Colorado has to offer and loves creating experiences for her clients that they will remember for a lifetime!

Lauren Ciarallo

Local Expert – Mountains

Lauren Ciarallo, CSEP graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with an Emphasis in Tourism Management. She has an extensive event planning background that gives her the opportunity to design and coordinate events from multiple perspectives: corporate planner, hotel conference services, banquets and more. Her unique professional experience allows her to efficiently and enthusiastically manage logistics and details from each of these viewpoints.

Amy Parr

Local Expert, Mountains

With over 15 impactful years in the hospitality and meeting management industry, Amy spent the last decade crisscrossing North America as a Travel Director with companies including East Events, Planning the Globe, Pacific Communications, and BB&T, managing travel logistics and events for high-touch / high profile customers and their guests. Prior, Amy was engaged for years at Charleston Place, an Orient-Express Hotel, as catering and special events manager. Amy specializes in the small details, overcoming challenges and excels at being calm under pressure.
